Storm the House - Classic Flash Stickman Defense Game

Storm the House is a classic Flash shooting and defense game where you must protect a building from waves of attacking stickmen. Take control of a sniper, aim at enemies approaching your stronghold, and shoot them before they can reach the building. Between attacks, use the money you earn to improve your defenses and prepare for increasingly difficult waves.

Originally developed by Ivory, Storm the House became one of the recognizable defense shooters of the classic Flash game era. Armor Games lists the game as a Flash, shooting, sniper, survival and stick game.

Instructions

Defend the House

The objective in Storm the House is simple: keep the building standing.

Enemy stickmen advance toward your position from across the battlefield. You control the aiming point with your mouse and must pick off attackers before they get close enough to damage the house. The further you progress, the more important it becomes to react quickly and manage your defenses effectively.

Unlike a traditional strategy game where you control units across a large map, Storm the House keeps the action focused on a single defensive position. Your shooting accuracy and your upgrade decisions both play an important role in surviving the assault.

Shoot, Reload and Survive

Storm the House uses a straightforward control system that makes it easy to start playing. Move the mouse to aim, click to fire, and press the Spacebar when you need to reload.

The simple controls allow you to concentrate on the incoming attackers. Keep an eye on the battlefield, eliminate threats before they reach the building, and avoid wasting ammunition when several enemies are approaching at once.

Reloading at the wrong time can leave your defenses vulnerable, so ammunition management becomes increasingly important as the enemy waves become more demanding.

Earn Money and Upgrade Your Defenses

Defeating enemies gives you money that can be used to improve your defenses between waves. The original game includes defensive improvements and additional support that can help you deal with increasingly powerful attacks.

You can invest in things such as stronger walls, additional firepower, hired gunmen, repair support and missile-based defenses. These upgrades give the game a strategic element beyond simply aiming and shooting.

Choosing how to spend your money is an important part of the game. You can strengthen the building, improve your offensive capabilities, or add automated support to help handle enemies while you focus on the most immediate threats.

Classic Flash Gameplay

Storm the House is a product of the classic browser Flash era. Historical game listings date the original release to 2005, while Armor Games lists its publication there in December 2007.

The game later became the first entry in the Storm the House series, followed by Storm the House 2 and Storm the House 3.

Its simple stickman graphics, fixed defensive position, shooting mechanics and upgrade system helped establish the style that became common among browser-based defense games.
