Subbuteo Amiga game

Subbuteo offers a unique take on the classic table football game, diverging from the gameplay style of Sensible Soccer, Kick Off, or FIFA. It's more akin to a turn-based strategy game, where each player has 30 seconds to execute their move within a 30-minute match.

Players begin by selecting a player and determining the direction in which they'll flick, followed by adjusting the power and swerve by holding down a button for varying lengths of time.

Success hinges on hitting the ball in a manner that keeps it within the playing area and avoids contact with opponents. Violating these rules results in possession transferring to the opposing team.

Additionally, before each flick, the team without possession can make a 'defensive flick' to strategically position a player for potential blocking maneuvers, without committing a foul by making contact with the ball or an opponent.
