Omidar Commodore 64 game

As there was no adaptation of the arcade game "Amidar" for the C64, the programmers decided to release their own almost identical game named Omidar. Omidar is reminiscent of well-known maze games like Time Runner, Kid Grid, or Gridder, and even though it is extremely simple, it's a lot of fun. The goal of the game is to collect all the dots (?) in a maze. When you collect the dots to form a square, the square fills with color and is considered completed. But you can't just wander through the corridors casually; no, there must be some nasty opponents to make the task quite challenging. At the beginning, there are three Bantu hunters, but with time, up to seven appear on the screen, requiring quick thinking and strategy! The game is played alternately on two screens, followed by a bonus round where you have to determine or guess the path to a banana.

Instructions

In the first screen, you control a monkey being chased by Bantu hunters. Your goal is to avoid them. If you end up in a so-called "sandwich position," you have three "jumps" as a last resort. When you press the fire button, all enemies jump into the air, allowing you to pass underneath them unharmed.

The second screen is a bit more demanding. Here, you control a color roll being pursued by pigs. The tricky part is that you must first color adjacent squares; otherwise, the roll runs out of color. Even if you interrupt the path midway or take a different route, the color line breaks, and you have to go back to get more color. After that, a bonus round follows, where you need to guide or guess the path for a piglet to reach a banana basket. If you're fast, you can always guess the correct path.
