Lode Runner Commodore 64 game

Gameplay:

A stick figure that the player controls must gather all the gold in a level while eluding guards who want to capture the stick figure. To advance to the next level, the player must reach the top of the screen after collecting all the gold. The game has 150 levels that increasingly test a player's capacity for problem-solving or speed of reaction.

There are many methods to go about thanks to the levels' multi-story brick platform design, which includes ladders and hand-to-hand bars hung in the air. Gold bars may be picked up by guards by running over them, however each guard is only permitted to carry one bar at a time. The player can safely stroll on top of any guards who have fallen into holes by digging holes through floors to temporarily confine them. A guard who falls into a hole while holding a gold bar will drop it, allowing the player to pick it up. After a little period, holes dug by the player fill in by themselves.
