In Sergeant Seymour: Robotcop, Seymour has been transformed into a futuristic bionic police officer. Your mission is to clear each level of villains in a series of top-down maze-like environments. The game features more than 30 action-packed levels, each filled with enemies and hazards.

Seymour's bionic abilities are at the heart of the gameplay. His stretching arm can reach enemies from a distance, while the cuff gun provides another way to capture villains. Holding the fire button can extend the arm further and increase the power of the cuff gun.

Defeated villains can leave behind bonuses, while additional power-ups give Seymour useful advantages. A blue light can protect him from one hit, a rainbow tile increases his speed, and answering the telephone can call in the SWAT team.

Classic C64 Arcade Action

The levels are viewed from above and require you to move around the screen while dealing with groups of enemies. Some villains can throw objects such as apples and cans at Seymour, while bombs provide another hazard to avoid.

You can also collect the letters needed to spell ROBOTCOP. Completing the word takes Seymour to a special bonus stage where you can collect additional rewards.

Sergeant Seymour: Robotcop was developed by Big Red Software and published by Codemasters. The Commodore 64 version was released in 1992 and features graphics by Jason Brashill and music by Allister Brimble.
