Pac-Mania Amiga game

Pac-Mania is a modified version of the game Pac-Man. In this game, you must navigate Pac-Man through a maze and consume all of the dots on the board to progress to the next level. The maze is also populated by several ghosts of different colors, who try to hinder your progress. However, if you eat one of the power pellets scattered throughout the maze, the ghosts will temporarily turn blue and flee from you. During this time, you can gain extra points by devouring the ghosts. The maze is designed in an isometric perspective and is larger than the screen, which will automatically scroll to keep up with the gameplay. To assist in navigating tight spaces, Pac-Man has acquired the ability to jump. But, be cautious, as some of the ghosts have also learned this skill and you may end up colliding with them while airborne!

Pac-Mania – Classic Amiga Game

Play Pac-Mania, the classic Amiga version of Namco's iconic Pac-Man maze game. Originally released in arcades in 1987, Pac-Mania puts a new spin on the familiar Pac-Man formula with an isometric 3D-style perspective, scrolling mazes and a brand-new jumping ability. The Amiga version arrived in 1988, bringing this unique Pac-Man experience to home computers.

Play Pac-Mania Online

In Pac-Mania, your goal is still familiar: guide Pac-Man through the maze and eat all the dots while avoiding the colorful ghosts. Eat a Power Pellet and the ghosts temporarily turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to chase them down for bonus points.

What makes Pac-Mania different is its isometric perspective and larger scrolling mazes. Pac-Man can also jump over ghosts and obstacles, adding a new dimension to the classic maze-chase gameplay. But watch out — some ghosts can jump too, so escaping isn't always as easy as it looks.

Classic Namco Arcade Action on Amiga

Pac-Mania is the ninth game in the Pac-Man series and was directed by Pac-Man creator Toru Iwatani. Its unusual perspective and jumping mechanic made it a distinctive evolution of the classic arcade formula. The game was later converted to a wide range of home computers and consoles, including the Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MSX, ZX Spectrum, NES and Sega Genesis.

If you enjoy classic Amiga games, Pac-Man games, retro arcade games and maze games, Pac-Mania is a great title to revisit. Play Pac-Mania online and guide Pac-Man through the colorful isometric mazes while avoiding ghosts and collecting every dot.
