This sequel offers more intense space combat and strategic gameplay, challenging players to gather elements to create a bomb that will destroy an opposing resistance force. Each planet in the game has its unique characteristics, including different inhabitants and landscapes.
In addition to navigating through space, players must maneuver through underground tunnels on the planets to access powerful weapons. To progress in the game, players must interact with characters, obtain various objects, and trade them in order to achieve their main goals.
One of the major improvements from the first Starglider game is the polygon graphics, which are highly detailed and optimized for 16-bit systems.
