Defend the Moon Base

The campaign begins with Moon Base Alpha 12 under attack. The alien invasion has disrupted the base, stopped drilling operations, and put the lives of the miners at risk. Your mission is to regain control of the sector while dealing with enemy installations and increasingly dangerous defenses.

Unlike a simple defense game, Shadez 3 gives you control over an entire military operation. You need to think about your economy, army composition, positioning, and the best way to attack enemy positions.

Mine Resources and Build Your Army

Mineral ore is one of the most important resources in Shadez 3. Build ore trucks and send them to mining locations to generate income for your military operation. The money you earn can then be used to construct units, buildings, and other equipment.

Managing your resources is an important part of surviving the campaign. Spending too quickly can leave you without enough money to reinforce your position, while investing in mining and production can give you the resources needed for a larger offensive.

Command Soldiers, Vehicles and Aircraft

Your forces include a variety of military units that can be deployed across the battlefield. Infantry, tanks, helicopters, and other equipment each have different roles, allowing you to build an army suited to the situation.

You can select individual units or organize them into groups, making it easier to command larger forces during battles. Helicopters can provide mobility and firepower, while ground forces can advance toward enemy positions and attack their defenses.

Fight the Alien Forces

The alien invasion makes every mission a battle for control of the Moon. Enemy installations can include heavily defended positions and advanced weapons, so sending units forward without a plan can quickly cost you valuable troops.

Use your army strategically, protect important resources, and combine different types of units when attacking. Some missions also involve objectives beyond simply destroying everything, including protecting or evacuating miners.

Upgrade Your Military

Shadez 3 includes an upgrade system that lets you improve your forces as you progress. Your achievements can unlock additional improvements, helping your army become stronger during the campaign.

The result is a browser strategy game that rewards careful planning rather than simply sending every available unit into battle.

Shadez 3 Controls

The mouse is used to select units and navigate the menus. WASD or the Arrow Keys move the camera around the battlefield, while the number keys can be used for group selection. Press P to pause, F to increase the game speed, and T to track selected units.

These controls make it possible to manage a large battlefield while keeping track of your units and important objectives.
