In Raiden X, you control a futuristic fighter and battle your way through 8 action-packed stages. Enemy aircraft, tanks, turrets and other targets fill the screen as you dodge incoming fire and continuously attack your opponents. Each stage ends with a challenging boss battle.

The game gives you several different weapons to choose from. Collect colored power-ups to upgrade or change your primary weapon, including a red machine gun, blue laser and purple electric beam. You can also collect missile upgrades, including straight-firing missiles and homing rockets.

Bombs provide another powerful weapon when the screen becomes crowded with enemies or incoming projectiles. Careful use of your weapons, power-ups and bombs is essential as the action becomes increasingly intense.

8 Stages of Arcade Action

Raiden X features eight stages filled with enemy formations, ground targets and boss encounters. The game also includes Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty settings, allowing you to choose how challenging you want your run to be.

One particularly useful feature of the Flash game is the ability to save your progress after completing a level, allowing you to return to your game instead of starting from the beginning every time.
